I plan to take some notes every year to try to document some of Kyla's highlights. Hopefully she will look back at it some day and appreciate it. Here are the notes I came up with this year.

Kyla has good manners, says please & thank you, and gives voluntary kisses to mommy and daddy.

Enjoys: the park-swinging & slides, wrestling with daddy, coloring, watering the flowers, pushing baby stroller, pushing shopping cart, carrying baskets and putting stuff in them, zippers, puzzles, blocks, help w housework like sweeping, watch the trash truck, wave goodbye and blow kisses, cartoons, sleeping w Dada & Mama, hearing ice cream truck, swimming, riding bike (on back), driving her 4-wheeler, vacuum, getting into Mommy's Mary Kay, typing on keyboard, showers w Daddy, Playing w toys in bath, smelling candles, touching other babies, rocks, waving goodbye to Daddy and blowing him a kiss before he heads off to work, talking on cellphones, putting money in her piggy bank, putting on shoes, climbing, going byebye in car, getting her arm & hands rubbed softly, ice, drawing & coloring, swimming, feeding daddy's fish, petting puppies

Knows: Basic colors, animals, shapes, how to potty on the big girl seat, some sign language, praise Jesus, how to say Yes & NO, her Uncles, her Moma & Pawpa.

Growing more teeth, growing lots of hair.

The LAN party at my place this weekend was fun. There were seven of us. We played Condition Zero, Source Beta, and Age of Empires II. Ate lots of snacks and soda. Special thanks to Legolas for all the help in preperation. Congrats to Magudas for winning the Jawlipop Bubble Gum Lollipop. Thank you theReckoning members for spending your Labor Day time with me.

So I installed Yahoo!'s latest version of Messenger a couple days ago. I'm loving it. It is so much funner than my muliti-network IM client Trillian. One of the best new features is how it incorporates LAUNCHcast radio through it. I tried LAUNCH in the past but was quickly discouraged. It has come a long way since I used it. I love the rating system and how I can customize so much more to create my personalized station. Check out my very diverse station here!
I must admit, for the price difference I'm reconsidering my XM Radio Service.
