    Fox

There was a fox scurrying around tonight under my outside light. Pretty guy. I'm told badgers hang out around here too.

    New Mower

Well when you buy a new lawn that has about six acres to mow, I would say that justifies getting a bigger and better mower right? I've just had a push mover up to now. So I purchased a Cub Cadet Zero-Turn 50" deck riding mower. This mower if pretty fun, and so far I am enjoying my new job. It appears a normal mow will take me just over two hours, so I think I will go easy on the fertilizer from now on. more

    Crane

I saw a large crane today poking around at my pond. He must have stopped by for a little snack. This new home is really a blessing. I love how quiet it is.

    Beautiful Alaska/Engagement

    Music: Alaska Radio
Mood: God Created A Beautiful Earth

Ang and I took a wonderful trip to Alaska this week. Wow, it sure is as beautiful as they say up there. The scenery is just breathtaking. We hiked to a glacier, took a cruise, went halibut fishing, ate some great food and saw God's amazing creations.
Oh and one more thing, I got engaged! Yes! I will be getting married to Angela Woodward sometime before the end of the year. We are very excited. Did she expect it? NO. Did her parents already know? Yes (I'm a gentleman..come on)

Angela's family is a lot of fun. I was also able to meet with a few of her high school friends and play games. The kids and the dogs kept me entertained as Ang caught up with her family. I will be visiting Alaska much more, I am sure of it.
