Revelation

Our pastor Mike Bickle has been preaching on the Book of Revelation at our church. There are some things in his message that have shed a totally different meaning to the end times for Angie and I, and we wanted to share a 57 minute overview video with you. Our church is diving deeper in this topic in the coming weeks.

New Garage

We had a 24' x 30' garage built next to our house. This will help store multiple items that have been cluttering our exiting garage and other storage.

College of the Ozarks

The other day I was in a bookstore flipping through the Princeton Review and read about C of O, the college I graduated from. Then later on I did some additional research online and I was impressed to find that this year the U.S. News & World Report ranked them as #10 in their Best Colleges Guide 2009. Other stats and a video are below.

-U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges Guide 2009
Ranked C of O #10 Baccalaureate College in the Midwest
Ranked C of O #1 Great School for Great Price
Ranked C of O #1 Lowest Acceptance Rate
  Ranked C of O #1 Least Debt
-U.S. News & World Report, "Best College" yearly since 1989
-Templeton Honor Roll, "Character Building College"
-Money Magazine's, "Best Buy College Guide"
-Barron's, "300 Best Buys in Higher Education"

Zaylee at 10 Months

Zaylee weighs 25 Ibs and has four teeth. She waves good-bye. She says "mama, dada, baby, babye". She doesn't care for baby food much anymore, but likes the toddler meals. She pulls herself up on anything she can reach and as you can see, she crawls all over the house. Her favorite TV show is Meo Mao. She enjoys wrestling with Daddy and watching her sister. Mommy makes her smile the biggest.

Studio Preparation

I recently invested in some professional photography lights and a couple backdrops. I hope to upgrade my camera base around Christmas time and then maybe officially open my photo studio early next year (in my basement). Until then, I'll be studying photography and practicing on family and friends. Today I did a short session with Justin and Zaylee. I imagine you will start to see a difference in the quality of photos we post here. Maybe some of you readers will pose for me on your next visit to Garden City??

Tim Update

Two weeks ago my dad finished his 5 weeks of radiation/chemo treatments and is now home recovering. When I talk to him he sounds great. He is having some small side effects that should be wearing off in the next week or two. Right now he's busy trying to avoid germs and stay warm (it's been 0 and snowing for days). My mom is very happy to have him home with her. He is scheduled to get another MRI in December to see how effective the treatments were.

Starting to Crawl

At 9 1/2 months, Zaylee is starting to crawl on her knees. She's been doing what we call a military crawl for a few weeks now, but last night she just started using her knees too. She's been much more mobile around our house and it's time we start baby-proofing thing such as plugins and cabinets. She's also figuring out how to pull herself up on things. It won't be long till she's manouvering her way all over the house.
