Grandma T

I didn't expect to post such a positive report after hosting a mother-in-law visit for two weeks, but things went super well. This was a great opportunity for the four of us to get to know each other more and spend some quality time together. We discovered Grandma T's passion to cook, her love for grandchildren, her card-playing skills, her joy to shop for unique things, and she had some fun gambling at the boats. We shared with her our quiet country home, some southern cookin’, Branson fun, Ladder Golf, and relaxing porch sittin'. I feel like I actually know her now and I'm glad to say I do. Thanks T for taking time out of your schedule to visit us. Feel free to visit again. Love ya!

Nature walks

We are getting our share of nature at our house. Last night I spotted this deer about 30' from our front window. In the backyard Kyla and I spotted an owl and we saw some baby turkey in the field attached to our property. I also noticed that the caterpillars that I caught the other day have begun their transformation process and are forming cocoons. Kyla seems to really appreciate all that goes on outside.

I Can See You

Kyla is wearing her pretend glasses. Check out her new May pictures to see her trying on Angie's real glasses. She is so adorable.
