Uncle Johnny
While in Springfield this weekend I took Carrie and family to visit with Uncle Johnny. It had been over 10 years since she'd seen him. We were also lucky to visit with our cousin Tim, his son Lane, and expecting girlfriend.

Sheibal Visit
My cousin Carrie and her two youngest children, Cody and Kalie, came to visit us for their birthdays. We had a packed weekend of activities including swimming at Harrisonville pool, Cody's senior portraits, visiting Uncle Johnny in Springfield, Branson, putt-putt golf, slick track, go-carts, ejection seat, Silver Dollar City, and fireworks to top it all off. Whew! Happy Birthday Cody and Kalie - glad we could spend it together.

Big Pizza
We ate a lot of good food at the Lindsey family reunion, including this pizza. Belive it or not, this was the SMALL pizza we ordered at The Pizza Machine. It fed about 18 of us and we had lots of leftovers. The large is the biggest pizza in the world.

Lindsey Family Reunion 2009
There were about 23 of us at the annual Lindsey Family Reunion this year. It was hosted by Aunt Mary Jane in Springfield Illinois. It's always good to see my Dad's side of the family and reconnect. We had a pretty full agenda of events to keep us going.

Happy Zaylee

Independence Weekend
This weekend was filled with all kinds of activities. We had so much fun together. Sparklers, snakes, and champagne poppers were Kyla's favorite. Zaylee was a little startled by the big booms in the air at first, but she hung in there. If you are looking for a different display next year, Harrisonville really does put on a great show.

RIP Henry DeNileon
Great Grandpa Henry DeNileon passed away last night at his nursing home in Denver, Colorado. We will miss him.
