Caitlin & Amber Visit

We enjoyed a short notice visit from Caitlin and her friend Amber. We played cards, rode the 4-wheeler, and took a trip to Branson. We were happy to entertain them and get to know them each better. Kyla enjoyed the "big kids" too!

At Silver Dollar City, Kyla learned how to milk a cow.

There one day, gone the next

We had a little surprise on Sunday while heading to church. Sometime on Saturday night our mailbox was blown up. Here are some pictures of the pieces. And to add to that we had received mail on Saturday that wasn't ours. I wrote "Please Forward to Correct Address" on the envelope and put it back in the mailbox to be sent out on Monday, now we have to explain why it's damaged.

We now have a fancy new white mailbox - made of tin this time.

Sweet Corn Days

Today we went to Sweet Corn Days in Garden City. We ate grill roasted corn, hot dogs, chips and fresh homemade ice cream. We played on the swing, went through a corn maze, watched a band play, and took three hay rides. It was fun, and I think I'll go again next year.

Cornerstone 2007

We had a great time at Cornerstone in Bushnell, IL this year. Saw well over 50 of the 200+ bands that played. Some of the notable ones are Flyleaf, Switchfoot, UnderOath, War of Ages, and David Crowder Band. We were blessed with comfortable weather this year as well.

The main stage where the larger bands played.

War of Ages on the Underground Stage.
