Picking Berries
We found several Alaskan wild berries on our hike. We found: Watermellon Berries, Crowberries, Highbush Cranberries, Lowbush Cranberries, Bunchberries, Kinnikinnick Bearberries, Bog Blueberries, Red-berried Elder Elderberries, Rosehip, and wild raspberries, . The Bog Blueberries made delicious muffins.

Hike to Russian River Falls
Several of the Woodwards joined us on a hike to the Russian River Falls. Zaylee rode in a pack on my back and sang songs most of the way. It was an easy family hike and only about 2.3 miles to the overlook of the salmon jumping their way up the river. We ate lunch there and soaked up the scenery.

Woodward Cousins

New Roof
Insurance covered a whole new roof after the lightning and wind damage we suffered last month. We are glad this project is over with.
Back Up
Sorry my site was down for about four days. While we were out of town, I heard we had a big storm and a four hour power outage which shutdown my web server and power backup. Many more posts to follow!

Little Artist
Zaylee enjoyed drawing a lovely picture for me but once there was more marker on her hands than the paper, I ended the fun. Good thing they were washable markers.

Updating my Prayer List
My sister Brandi will be at the hospital the next couple days for her hysterectomy. Please remember her in your prayers.
Also my Uncle Jim Lindsey was recently diagnosed with Liver cancer. He has beat cancer before, but this means more chemo.
