I grew up in the country on a small farm backed up beside a national forest. Ponds, trees, 4-wheelers, gardening, hunting, low crime, quiet nature and clean air. For several months now, I've been searching for a house that will get me out of the city and
back to my roots, and I think I've finally found something really close. Angela and I have decided on a
four-year old home out in Garden City MO. It's on seven acres with several trees and some pasture. The backyard is what sold it for me. We have to drive a couple miles of gravel to get there, but if you ask me, even better. The less traffic and noise, the better. This is exciting.
I've been cooped up in an apartment complex right snug beside a major interstate in Kansas City for over a year and a half. Before that, I was in a house in a tight neighborhood with one 15' tree. That kind of living is just not me.
Here are
some pics of our last walk-through.
