The Midwest had a big storm come through this week. It didn't hit my house really that bad, but ice hit pretty hard in the Springfield area. My Mom, Sister, Dad, and Uncle all lost power. I went down to see how I could help out and took some pictures of the devastation. My Dad's house appears to have taken the strongest hit. He had some pretty large trees dropping branches.
I've offered my home as a refuge, but for some reason they would prefer to manage the best they can down there. It's going to make some cold evenings for them, so please remember them in your prayers. more...
